Chelsea A. Madsen PhD, LMFT

Founder and Clinical Director of White Peaks Therapy

I believe that seeking help from a therapist takes strength and courage.  When I see clients, it is my goal to compassionately and collaboratively address the issues that are most difficult, and help lead and guide them in their process of resolving concerns.  I believe people have incredible abilities, thus one of my primary goals is to help explore, process and improve the manifestations of these strengths.  I am passionate about helping people improve individual, couple and family functioning and I believe that a safe, comfortable and confidential environment is important in that process.  I am here to help and I am enthusiastic about what I do.

I am fully invested in facilitating healthier relationship functioning.  I often see couples that feel stuck, or have had traumatic experiences both within and outside of the relationship.  Often times these couples have become entangled in negative interaction patterns and destructive behaviors.  It is my goal to help the couple feel safe, supported and heard, as well as assist in breaking the destructive patterns, or healing from negative experiences producing a healthier, happier relationship.  I also work with individuals that desire to explore current stumbling blocks in their relationships and personal lives.  Whether it be trauma, grief, past or current abuse, anxiety/depression, communication or addictions I am dedicated to helping the client explore, process and heal.

I have been working with clients for well over a decade and I am grateful so many have graciously allowed me to be a part of their lives.
