Mary Anne Linford SSW, LMFT

Everyone experiences rough patches at some point in their life. During these difficult times it may be hard to remember the good parts of one’s self or of one’s relationships. Seeking help in difficult times takes courage and a resilient spirit. I believe we all possess resiliency and strength within ourselves that can heal the parts that are wounded.

My goal in therapy is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental place to explore and discover the strength and insight one needs to heal and find joy. Often times the change required to find joy is a small shift in thought or a tweak in one’s pattern of interacting with others. In other cases, true peace and joy may be found through honoring and acknowledging the trauma one has not only experienced, but survived! This is a journey that I am honored to accompany you on.

As a therapist, I am trained and passionate about working with couples, families, individuals, and children. My approach is honest, direct, and strength based. In the 20+ years I have spent working with people, I have seen strength and courage bring about change that initially seemed impossible.  I am inspired by the clients I work with and honor their courage and desire to better their lives.
